We just got back from an incredible experience at the Hollywood Music Awards. The Hollywood Music Awards (HMA) is the only red carpet style event of its kind in the world that celebrates music in new visual mediums. Honoring a variety of music styles, from traditional to experimental, the awards show will give equal attention to both signed and unsigned music artists for their music recordings. We were nominated in the New Age category for best New Age song. We were honored to be at the event and among so many talented artists, music supervisors, and other music industry at the show...

Phoenix rising nominated by Hollywood Music Awards

A PHOENIX RISING song has been nominated by the Hollywood Music Awards as one of the best in the new age/ambient category. PHOENIX RISING iscomprised of composer/pianist Wendy Loomis, flutist/arranger MonicaWilliams, and a revolving guest artist. The CD will be released to the public inJanuary 2009. However, in anticipation of the holidays, PHOENIXRISING is offering the chance to purchase a signed, special'pre-release' at $20 each.
